  China where it started ,83,000 / USA now <400,000 How come ?

  am i missing something here ?

  how is it that where this covid 19 started , in wuhan china, china has only ,reportedly 83,000 for the whole country ?

  whereas in the united states of america the figure is just under 400,000 ?.

  I still dont know anyone tested. Of course the hall had 5 cases by rumor. Every sneeze. they didnt count elder talks a lot who came to do his part and left early. I suspect he really did and is the local distributor

  this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

  Yes. My point was how bad it would be with no vaccine. still running rampant. It is hard to get my mind around the seriousness. Stopping the whole world. I am not a scoffer, but lots are Air travel has to be part of the formula making this worse. The isolation orders are a joke, no enforcement here at least; and there are so many exceptions. I also dont want my door welded shut.

  I am one of the few old people who never got vaccinated. Parents were Members of a sect that didnt get them

  My D.I.L.was informed by her mother ,her father died this morning.

  my lovely d.i.l.

  heard of her fathers passing this morning.both her parents and siblings have shunned her for over 22 years.. about 1 week ago her mother notified her by e-mail that her father had cancer and was not expected to live much longer.of course they had known for a long time that he had terminal cancer.. last week my d.i.l.

  did ring her father and spoke with him.. the only other time they contacted my d.i.l.

  i recall when it was released ,that's when i was a drone, how excited i felt at the prospect of reading it and formulating ways to sell it at the homes in my area.. i thought, finally a book to explain the last book in the bible and indeed one that the churches seemed to want to leave alone!.

  i sold quite a few probably because of my enthusiasm and can still remember clearly the first day when i went knocking on doors with it ,and it's been decades since.. but over time it lost it's shine and my mind started to question the explanations in it due to the scene of other things being changed in the jw beliefs.. do you remember they flogged that book so many times in the book studies even when it was found to have "newer light " eclipsing it!.

  who else remembers the printed pages with the official corrections to insert into the book ,so many that the book collapsed to be of no relevance anymore really.....what an embarrassment!.

  Look at christendoms take on revelation, Daniel. Ezekiel. Going back hundreds of years. On a different forum there was a reference to the small horn. I foolishly thought it was exclusive to WT. Wrong. They take an idea, massage it and run with it

  Isn't It Ironic That Many People Now Wish That Many of the Things China is Making Would Actually Be Made in Mexico?

  let me think of a few advantages to having mexico do more manufacturing for us:.

  - low cost labor .

  - just drive around or jump over the wall to see family and friends.

  A better made in USA product. old washers and fridges lasted 30 to 40 years. not now . Some of it is reengineering and bean counters instead if the workman. Craftsmanship is being lost.

  Even the paint I just bought has such thin metal can you cant replace the lids tightly.
